Here is another Coaching on the Go Moment from real estate coach Caroline Bolderston.
Have you got your quarterly marketing plan locked and loaded for the next quarter?
If you are like most agents I work with who are lacking in structure, especially around their marketing plan, you need to get on top of this. Once you have your plan worked out for one quarter, all you have to do is repeat the same plan every quarter, making this easier than you ever imagined. Having a plan in place will not only take away the thinking and the guesswork, it will bring structure to your months.
Use the framework below to help put your quarterly plan together:
There are always four key channels you need to be looking at.
- Printed Marketing – Letterboxes
- Digital Marketing to Inboxes – CRM & Database
- Digital Marketing to your Social Media channels
- Community Marketing – Community publications, Newsletters, Sign boards, Events, Community spaces
What I would encourage you to do is map out 1 month and what you will do in each of those four channels. Once you do this you can duplicate that plan for month 2 and 3 of the quarter.
An example of how to map out the three months for your printed marketing would be to create a monthly summary for month one, a quarterly report for month two and a generic marketing conditions and trends update for month three.
Take this approach and follow through with the monthly changes you will make for your inbox, social media and community marketing channels.
The type of messaging you use throughout the channels will come to you from being immersed in the market, doing what you do everyday, or even from repurposing articles from other outlets in the industry.
I hope that has given you enough to start mapping out your quarterly plan, so you can start marketing and building your profile as soon as April!
