00:03 I had a really powerful session with a client recently about how he’s getting in the way of deals getting done.

00:15 Now, what’s really going on here is in this shifting market it can be really difficult to shift into, and letting go of the need to have clients who are thrilled with the result, to have clients whose expectations all get met. And for you to in a way be the hero and achieve street records or building records. Those days are gone.

00:43 And what that means is if you haven’t let go of the need for that, which is all about detaching from those emotions around what you want to feel during a campaign. If you haven’t let go with that right now you will be getting in the way of truly identifying Have we met some great buyers who will buy this property.

01:03 And what that means is your days on market are longer, your clearance will blow out, you’re going to lose listings, if you don’t get them sold.

01:11 Make no mistake, what your vendors need from you right now are willing buyers who are in a position to make offers unconditionally, and they just need to get sold. Yes, for the best price you can get them. 01:25 But it’s really about getting the job done. So I just thought I’d share that with you food for thought potentially.

01:33 And how can you stop getting in the way and get some more property sold. And by the way, since I have that conversation with my client, he’s got one unconditionally sold and hoping to exchange another one today.
