Here is another Coaching on the Go Moment from real estate coach Caroline Bolderston.
Today’s message is a simple one and it’s a bit like this. It’s time for you to get over yourself. I mean that with the greatest level of respect and with true understanding.
I know what it must be like at the moment because I’m hearing it from client after client. They’re resisting speaking to people. They’re thinking about what the other person is going to think of them. Here’s where you can do to make an immediate shift.
Start to think about your clients and stop thinking about you.
Think about what is going on for people at the moment, how might they be feeling? Alone, confused, concerned, worried? Worried about whether they are going to miss the market? Worried about the timing of everything. There’s a lot going on.
It time to get over yourself and what you think people might feel about you.
Instead shine a light on others.
That’s when you will have true connection and truly feel good about what you’re doing. Ultimately, that is what people need from you right now. So let’s do it. Throw your worries out the window. Pick up the phone, get curious and turn up with care and empathy. See what you can do to impact and assist the others in your lives. I hope that helps you cut through and get talking.
Finally, remember my mantra ‘Just Do Today’. Stay in the moment, do as much as you can and we will get through this.
