Over the last five days, I have had seventeen 1-1 coaching sessions with agents across Australia and New Zealand, and what has become clear to me is the power shift in the market is on its way. What this means is, listing levels are starting to increase and agents’ pipelines are stronger than ever, influencing a power shift.
My question for you is, how are you going to handle that?
I believe it is truly important that when this power shift happens, your behaviours follow these three key actions.
1. Be aware!
Have your senses up. Start to feel what is going on and trust your instincts.
2. Broadcast your findings in your marketing.
This is really critical. In all of your marketing materials, videos, blogs, emails or commentary to potential sellers, start to layer in the sentiment of what you are recognising and observing in the market.
3. Pre-empt the market using your benchmarks.
You must preempt what is coming with your current listings. What this could look like is, when you sign up new listings, use your campaign benchmarks as a way to have a conversation about what could be coming. Utilize the campaign benchmarks loudly, at the beginning of the campaign. Not midway through it. I hope you are clear on your benchmarks because these are key for this step.
Using these top three behaviours will help you to handle the power shift and ensure that your business for this next quarter rolls out exactly how you want it.
