In this market, with restrictions changing at a moment’s notice, it can be very easy to get caught up with focusing on what you don’t have, what the future holds or comparing yourself to other agents. Do these thought patterns take up too much of your day and derail your productivity? In this Coaching On The Go, I share with you three tips to help you come back to yourself, come back to today and re-align with what you have now.

Here is another Coaching on the Go Moment from real estate coach Caroline Bolderston.

I have just finished a 30 day challenge with my Being Bold coaching agents and three tips for being as productive as possible emerged, which I wanted to share with you.

No 1. Focus on your daily activities, not the future.

The Real Estate industry and life, in general, is unpredictable. It is so important is that you don’t focus on what might be coming or not coming and focus your energy on the activities you can do every day. What you do each day is the only thing you can control and the only thing that can underpin your future success. When you focus on what you can control you worry less, are less anxious and feel less guilty. You have to ask yourself:

Could I have done anything more than I did today?

And if the answer is no, then you can give yourself the recognition for still being able to produce your key indicators for success.

No 2. Tracking numbers across what you do makes a difference.

One of my clients during the challenge thought that she didn’t do so well, however, after looking back on her numbers she was really surprised by how well she did. This shows that often what we think in our heads may be very different to reality. Tracking and visibly seeing your numbers shows you how you really go each month.

No 3. Stop comparing yourself.

It’s really dangerous to compare yourself to anybody else who is not in the same stage of their Real Estate career as you are. Your time in the market plays a role in your success. Time in the market gives you the skills and expertise that you don’t have if you’re 3 years in the job or someone who is 10-15 years in the job. Instead, you should be focusing on where you should be at, at this stage of your career.

How are you going with those top 3 tips? How are they showing up for you in your business?

If you have a genuine desire to serve your clients, work hard and become the best agent you can be – contact me via the section below to discuss how coaching can work for you.
