Here is another Coaching on the Go Moment from real estate coach Caroline Bolderston.

My focus right now with all of my one-on-one coaching clients and workshops, is making sure you are closing the loop on your unfinished business, before you go to the break. One of the six core elements which I focus on is – your scheduled tasks. Are you up to date with these tasks? Have you followed through on what you once projected? There is no doubt that you have made some promises and commitments to clients, because you set the scheduled task for a reason.

My question is this.

Are you making judgement calls?

I have found that many of my client’s when I ask them why their scheduled tasks are overdue and not up-to-date, they reply with excuses around not knowing if it is the right time to complete the task and so on. What I am hearing is, they are making judgement calls in the moment.

I would like you to think back to why you set a particular task on this particular day for a reason. You are the one who has made the decision around why you will follow up with a client on a certain date. So when this date comes around why are you making a judgement call around why not to do it?

What is it that you are really hesitating around?

If you are making judgement calls and postponing tasks, it’s time to stop! When the day comes with a note to follow up with a client, follow up with them – make the call! When your scheduled tasks pop up, execute them on the day. It’s that simple. Your client may be waiting to hear from you to see if you’re committed, reliable and can stick to your promises, so what do you have to lose?

You only have a couple of weeks left before the break, so go out and clear your tasks!
