Every single conversation I’ve had over the last three days with my coaching clients has had the same message. They tell me the market has shifted and buyers are drying up. It seems that every couple of weeks things are changing rapidly in the Real Estate space. There doesn’t appear to be any kind of consistency or reliability. So, what is the challenge with this?

Agents are getting caught out

This is because they are not following due process. I’m a huge believer in having the reliable foundations to support you. No matter what happens in the climate, world, environment or with your clients you are ready and prepared. You are following your clear benchmarks that you need to hit, that you know are important week to week as your campaign progresses. When you follow those benchmarks, you know what the campaign needs to look, feel and sound like because you set that up with your clients before you launched. It enables you to have those Powerful Direction Conversations (PDCs) you need have to stay on track.

If auctions haven’t sold or if all of a sudden you arrive at auction day and all your buyers have dried up, it’s potentially because you haven’t been in tune with the moment and you deviated from your reliable process.

This is a little reminder,

Be rigid on your process

Certainly, respond, react and be flexible in the moment, but be rigid with the process and knowing the benchmarks you need to hit. Please don’t find yourself caught unaware! See how you go with this approach because I don’t think this shifting environment or rapid changing climate is going anywhere anytime soon. This could be the status quo moving forward. You need to be ready. So go out there and get control back.
