Are your clients pushing back their listings to begin in 2020? As the wind down to the Christmas break continues, clients are looking to pick up their campaigns in the New Year. Get ready to make some calls and pencil in some appointments as I share my tips on how to secure those clients who are ready for a holiday.

Can you believe the year is coming to an end and 2020 is just around the corner?

You’ve got about one week left, you’re wrapping up your business and starting to look at those pipeline listings you haven’t been able to secure prior to the break.

Your clients may be asking for you to call them in the new year because it’s too hectic for them to meet now. If you haven’t yet got pen to paper and have some decisions pending, here’s what you need to do.

Pencil in your appointments

Respond to them with a plan to meet up. Tell them when you will be back to work in 2020 and book in an appointment for the first couple days after you are back to work. Be definite, find a time that works. As a follow up, you should be sending them a calendar invite or a reminder for the booked in appointment. When you’re back in the New Year, follow up again, reconfirming that the appointment is to go ahead. That way you’ll be ready to go with a set plan and get you ready to launch.

If you’re not pencilling in five, six, ten appointments that are on your 0 to 90 pipeline, please understand that you are leaving the door open. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but you’ve got a week left. Today’s the day! Make those calls and get those appointments booked in.

You’ll be surprised at how you feel having that to come back to. It means that you can jump back on board. You know exactly where you need to be. You will have no downtime or trying to ramp back up. You’ll be fully on ready to take advantage of a phenomenal new year.
