In real estate, there are more ways than one to ‘move’ your client.
If you want a client to feel a certain emotion, then you need to bring that emotion to the conversation. It’s less about being polite, sounding pushy or demanding, and a whole lot more around the energy and emotion you bring with you. This way the clients feel the impact of the conversation.

In a session today with one of my agents, we were role-playing a conversation that he needed to have with a client.

It needed to be a fairly weighty conversation around what is happening in today’s market.

Specifically where the client’s expectations were and what might need to happen in order to get the property closer to being sold.

Are you using emotion and the right intensity with your clients?

During our role-playing session, it became really obvious to me that the emotion, intensity, tone and the meaning behind the dialogue was not positioned in such a way that would actually MOVE the client to feel what that agent wanted the client to feel.

Bring the emotion you want to reflect in your conversations!

It’s really important as an agent that you bring to the conversation, the emotion and the feeling that you want your client to be feeling whether it be a buyer or a vendor.

Whichever emotion you want them to be feeling you have to bring that to the conversation, they can then reflect this back to you with the impression they get, in terms of that energetic feeling you portray.

Try role-playing these conversations

We role played it several times and by the fourth time, It was a completely different conversation due to the emotion and energy he was bringing.

My question to you today:

Are you moving your clients in that emotional energetic way?
